CVE-2025-30052

HighCVSS 8.8
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

The rsyncd service of CGM CLININET is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via IP spoofing. Access is granted solely based on the client's source IP address, so an attacker able to spoof an allowed IP can edit files on the affected system.

Risk Assessment

An attacker on the adjacent network can bypass access control and modify files on the server, potentially compromising medical data integrity or enabling further escalation. Confirmed to affect versions up to 2026.MS3.

Recommendation

Update CGM CLININET to a version later than 2026.MS3. Restrict rsyncd access through network segmentation and strong authentication instead of IP address alone.
