CVE-2025-30045

HighCVSS 8.6
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

CGM CLININET is vulnerable to Code Injection in the ConvExpr function, which processes Perl expressions into RTF document content. Due to improper control of evaluated code, an authenticated high-privileged attacker can cause arbitrary code execution with root privileges.

Risk Assessment

A high-privileged attacker can gain full control of the system, including executing commands as root. This may lead to server compromise and exposure of medical data. Confirmed to affect versions up to 2026.MS3.

Recommendation

Update CGM CLININET to a version later than 2026.MS3. Limit the number of high-privileged accounts and monitor for unusual system activity.
