CVE-2026-92982

In MariaDB server, the #mysql50# bypass prefix allows the #mysql50# prefix to bypass normal table-name filesystem encoding. An attacker can trigger the issue with a table name using the #mysql50# prefix, then use a #mysql50# table name to access files under their legacy unencoded name, causing crashes, data corruption, data exfiltration, or remote code execution. This affects versions from 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2.

In MariaDB server, SYS_REFCURSOR handling is affected because cursor-array reallocation can leave stale references in routine contexts. A low-privileged attacker can open a large number of SYS_REFCURSORs and then fetch one to trigger a use-after-free that can enable remote code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This affects versions from 12.3.1 until 12.3.3 and 13.0.2.

In MariaDB server, ST_AsText can write beyond an allocated output buffer when converting deeply nested GeometryCollections because recursive WKT serialization does not account for bytes consumed or reserve sufficient space. A low-privileged remote attacker can submit a specially crafted GIS object to corrupt memory and potentially achieve code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This affects versions from 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2.

Dockhand is a Docker management application. Prior to 1.0.34, the in-browser container terminal endpoint /api/containers/<id>/exec does not enforce authentication on the WebSocket upgrade request. When an unauthenticated attacker has network reach to Dockhand, knows a target container ID, and targets a container with an interactive shell, the attacker can open a raw WebSocket terminal session and execute commands inside the container.

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, _parse_reply() in sys/net/application_layer/dhcpv6/client.c omits minimum-length validation before passing IA_PD and IA_NA option bodies to sub-option parsers. A malicious or compromised DHCPv6 server can send a REPLY with an option length smaller than the required structure while MODULE_DHCPV6_CLIENT_IA_PD is enabled, causing _parse_ia_pd_option to read past the option body, size_t underflow, and unbounded out-of-bounds heap reads.

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.04, the ATWINC15x0 driver's _atwinc15x0_sta_set_current_ssid function uses strcpy to copy an SSID without checking the destination size. When MODULE_ATWINC15X0_DYNAMIC_CONNECT is enabled, a nearby attacker can advertise a malformed or oversized SSID that is processed during Wi-Fi scanning, causing memory corruption and potentially a hard fault, denial of service, or code execution.

RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, nanocoap accepts oversized CoAP Block2 option values without enforcing the 20-bit maximum block number, allowing block offset multiplication to overflow on 32-bit targets. The oversized value passes from coap_get_blockopt() to coap_block_slicer_init(), and a remote CoAP client can send a malformed Block2 option that produces an invalid slice range and can cause out-of-bounds memory access, denial of service, or memory corruption.

countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, plugins/star-rating/api/api.js allows a non-global application administrator to use uploadFeedbackFile to store attacker-controlled active content while trusting the supplied MIME type. plugins/star-rating/frontend/app.js publicly serves the stored content from feedback/preview/ with the attacker-influenced Content-Type, so a global administrator who opens the preview executes the payload in the Countly origin and exposes authenticated session capabilities, including auth_token and csrf_token values.

The storage status-change REST service allows location records still associated with DICOM instances to be changed to deletion-related states. Changing a location to TO_DELETE causes PurgeStorageScheduler to delete the referenced object from storage even though the corresponding instance record remains in the database.
