CVE-2026-116205

MediumCVSS 5.3
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

YesWiki before 4.7.0 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to fetch arbitrary URLs by supplying [[|URL]] wiki syntax to the render handler. Attackers can pass the syntax in the content parameter of the page render handler to reach internal hosts and ports and read their responses.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can remotely scan and access internal network resources, potentially exposing sensitive information or enabling further attacks. This can compromise the security of internal infrastructure.

Recommendation

Update YesWiki to version 4.7.0 or later. Additionally, consider restricting outbound network connections from the server and implementing URL validation.
