CVE-2026-104468

MediumCVSS 4.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

YesWiki before 4.6.7 contains an insufficient session expiration vulnerability because password reset tokens lack expiry timestamps. An attacker who obtains an unused reset URL from mailboxes, logs, backups, or browser history can submit a new password through checkEmailKey() and take over accounts.

Risk Assessment

Allows account takeover, including administrators, if an old password reset link leaks from mailboxes, logs, or backups. This can lead to full compromise of the wiki and its data.

Recommendation

Upgrade YesWiki to version 4.6.7 or later. Additionally, invalidate old password reset links and monitor for unusual password changes.
