Streszczenie

W jądrze Linux w podsystemie MTD funkcja __get_mtd_device() wywołuje callback _get_device() z mtd, który może być partycją, podczas gdy __put_mtd_device() przekazuje master. Powoduje to błędy w partycjach gluebi, które wymagają master MTD w kontenerze container_of().

Ocena ryzyka

Nieprawidłowe działanie partycji gluebi może prowadzić do błędów dostępu do pamięci i niestabilności systemu. Wymaga użycia urządzeń MTD z gluebi.

Rekomendacja

Zaktualizuj jądro Linux do wersji zawierającej poprawkę przekazującą master MTD do _get_device(), zgodnie z _put_device().

Oryginalny opis (angielski, źródło NVD)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mtd: core: call _get_device() with the master MTD __get_mtd_device() calls the master's _get_device() callback with mtd, which may be a partition. __put_mtd_device() passes the master. This breaks gluebi partitions because gluebi_get_device() uses container_of() and therefore requires the master MTD. Pass the master to _get_device(), matching _put_device().
