Streszczenie

Słaby mechanizm odzyskiwania hasła w produktach Mitsubishi Electric GENESIS, GENESIS64, ICONICS Suite, Hyper Historian, AnalytiX, MobileHMI, IoTWorX, MC Works64, GENESIS32 i BizViz pozwala uwierzytelnionemu lokalnemu użytkownikowi z uprawnieniami administracyjnymi odblokować system poprzez manipulację plikiem zarządzania przechowującym odpowiedź na wyzwanie. Administratorzy mogą odczytywać i zapisywać ten plik, ale jest on chroniony przez Windows.

Ocena ryzyka

Atakujący może ujawnić, zmodyfikować, zniszczyć lub usunąć informacje wewnętrzne albo doprowadzić system do stanu odmowy usługi (DoS).

Rekomendacja

Zaktualizuj produkty do wersji zawierających poprawkę i ogranicz lokalny dostęp administracyjny do systemów, aby zmniejszyć ryzyko manipulacji plikiem zarządzania.
