CVE-2026-92198

HighCVSS 8.2
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

The getSource method in Quest Foglight for Databases improperly restricts XML External Entity (XXE) references. An unauthenticated remote attacker can cause the XML parser to access an attacker-specified URI and disclose information in the context of the application.

Risk Assessment

The lack of authentication lowers the exploitation barrier and may lead to disclosure of application-accessible data and server-side request forgery.

Recommendation

Update Quest Foglight for Databases to the patched version and disable or restrict external XML entity processing in the parser.
