Summary
Vulnerability in Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition (component Networking). An unauthenticated attacker with network access can perform unauthorized updates, inserts, or deletes. Exploitable only by supplying data to APIs in the component, e.g., via a web service.
Risk Assessment
An attacker could compromise integrity of data in Java applications using the Networking component. However, network access and supplying data to the API are required.
Recommendation
Update Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition to the versions containing the fix. Ensure input validation in web services using the Networking component.
