CVE-2026-91380

MediumCVSS 4.0
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Vulnerability in the Utility component of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. This difficult-to-exploit flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker with logon access to the infrastructure to gain unauthorized update, insert, or delete access and unauthorized read access to a subset of data. It can be exploited through APIs in the component, e.g., via a web service supplying data, and also affects Java deployments running untrusted code in a sandbox.

Risk Assessment

The risk affects confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to Java applications — an attacker may modify or read a subset of data. However, exploitation requires local logon access to the infrastructure and is difficult, which limits the threat scope.

Recommendation

Update Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition to versions containing the security fix. Restrict logon access to infrastructure running Java and avoid running untrusted code in the sandbox.
