Summary

Vulnerability in the Serviceability component of Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. It is difficult to exploit, requires logon to the infrastructure and human interaction, and can lead to unauthorized update, insert or delete access to data and partial denial of service.

Risk Assessment

The risk is limited due to the high attack complexity and user interaction requirement, but successful exploitation can affect data integrity and availability of Java applications. Environments that load and run untrusted code, such as sandboxed Java Web Start applications or applets, are particularly exposed.

Recommendation

Update Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition to versions containing the fix for CVE-2026-91397. Restrict execution of untrusted Java code and control logon access to the infrastructure running these environments.
