HighCVSS 8.6
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Vulnerability in the data collection service of Brocade ASCG before 3.5.0. An API endpoint fails to perform authentication or authorization, allowing an attacker with network access to establish SSH connections to arbitrary hosts and execute arbitrary system commands, turning the appliance into an unauthenticated proxy or execution vector.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can use the appliance as a proxy to attack other systems or execute system commands, leading to full compromise of the appliance and potentially the entire network.
