CVE Catalog

CVE-2026-85422

HighCVSS 8.4
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

A vulnerability in Brocade ASCG before 3.5.0 could allow an attacker to obtain a static cryptographic key hardcoded into the software binaries to secure sensitive data at rest and protect inter-node communication protocols. An attacker who extracts this key can decrypt stored management credentials or craft forged administrative synchronization messages.

Risk Assessment

Exposure of the cryptographic key can lead to decryption of sensitive data and compromise of inter-node synchronization, threatening system integrity and confidentiality.

Recommendation

Update Brocade ASCG to version 3.5.0 or later. After updating, rotate all credentials and keys that may have been compromised.
