Summary

Audiobookshelf is a self-hosted audiobook and podcast server. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.32.2.

Risk Assessment

A user can supply a path outside the library directory, potentially leading to unauthorized file access or writes outside the intended area. This may result in data disclosure or modification.

Recommendation

Update Audiobookshelf to version 2.32.2 or later. Until updated, restrict access to the podcast creation feature to trusted users only.
