Summary

In WeGIA versions prior to 3.7.0, a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw was identified at the funcionario/profile_funcionario.php endpoint. Injecting a malicious payload into the 'Description' field and saving the profile persistently stores the script, which executes whenever the profile page is accessed.

Risk Assessment

A malicious script stored in a profile may execute in other users' browsers, leading to session theft or actions performed on their behalf. The risk affects all users viewing profiles.

Recommendation

Update WeGIA to version 3.7.0 or later. Until updated, restrict profile editing and validate input data.
