CVE Catalog

CVE-2026-55684

CriticalCVSS 9.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

In WeGIA prior to 3.8.6, the unauthenticated cadastro_cobrancas_geracao.php endpoint accepts POST data via extract($_REQUEST) and inserts it directly into an INSERT statement. Numeric parameters are unquoted and unvalidated, while string parameters can break out of their SQL context. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary SQL to read or modify billing, member, employee, permission, and credential data, or delete database tables.

Risk Assessment

The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain full access to the database, including credential theft, modification of billing data, and data destruction. This poses a serious risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Recommendation

Immediately update WeGIA to version 3.8.6 or later. Until patched, restrict access to the endpoint and deploy WAF rules to block SQL injection attempts.

Original NVD description (English source)

WeGIA is a web manager for charitable institutions. Prior to 3.8.6, the unauthenticated web/html/socio/sistema/cadastro_cobrancas_geracao.php endpoint accepts form-encoded POST data through extract($_REQUEST) and interpolates codigo, descricao, data_emissao, data_vencimento, data_pagamento, valor, valor_pago, status, link_cobranca, link_boleto, linha_digitavel, and id_socio into a raw INSERT statement. Numeric parameters are unquoted and unvalidated, while string parameters can break out of their single-quoted SQL context. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary SQL to read or modify billing, member, employee, permission, and credential data or to delete database tables. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.6.
