Summary
A storing passwords in a recoverable format vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR PaaS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, 7.5.0 through 7.5.2, 7.4 all versions, 7.3 all versions, and FortiSOAR on-premise in the same versions may allow an authenticated remote attacker to retrieve passwords for multiple installed connectors via server address modification in connector configuration.
Risk Assessment
Disclosure of connector passwords may allow an attacker to access connected external systems and escalate privileges.
Recommendation
Update FortiSOAR to a fixed version, rotate connector passwords, and restrict permissions to edit connector configuration.
Other vulnerabilities in FortiSOAR
See all- CVE-2026-84385Medium
An improper access control vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR (PaaS and on-premise) across multiple versions (7.3 to 7.6.6) may allow an attacker to escalate privileges. The attack vector is not specified.
- CVE-2026-22574Medium
A storing passwords in a recoverable format vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR PaaS and on-premise (7.3, 7.4, 7.5.0-7.5.2, 7.6.0-7.6.4) may allow an authenticated remote attacker to retrieve a service account password via server address modification in the LDAP configuration.
- CVE-2026-22573Medium
An improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR PaaS 7.6.0 through 7.6.3, 7.5, 7.4, and 7.3 all versions, and FortiSOAR on-premise in the same versions, may allow an authenticated remote attacker to perform a path traversal attack via File Content Extraction actions.
- CVE-2026-22155Medium
A cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR (PaaS and on-premise versions) allows an attacker to intercept sensitive data sent in plaintext. The flaw affects multiple versions from 7.3 to 7.6.
- CVE-2026-22154Medium
Fortinet FortiSOAR (PaaS and on-premise) versions 7.6.0–7.6.3, 7.5.0–7.5.2, 7.4 all versions, and 7.3 all versions contain an improper neutralization of input during web page generation (cross-site scripting) vulnerability. An authenticated remote attacker may perform a stored XSS attack via crafted HTTP requests.
- CVE-2026-21742Medium
A cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR (PaaS and on-premise versions) allows an authenticated attacker to view cleartext passwords in responses to Secure Message Exchange and Radius queries, if configured. The issue involves sending sensitive data in an unencrypted form.
- CVE-2025-59809Medium
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability [CWE-918] in Fortinet FortiSOAR PaaS and on-premise versions 7.3 through 7.6.4 may allow an authenticated attacker to discover services running on local ports via crafted requests.
- CVE-2025-59810Medium
An improper access control vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSOAR (both PaaS and on-premise) versions 7.3, 7.4, 7.5.0-7.5.1, and 7.6.0-7.6.2. An authenticated attacker may disclose information via crafted requests.
