Summary

The WP Hotel Booking plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'check_in_date' parameter in all versions up to and including 2.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute in a victim's browser if they trick the user into clicking a crafted link, potentially leading to session theft, redirection to malicious sites, or data theft.

Recommendation

Immediately update the WP Hotel Booking plugin to version 2.3.3 or later, which contains the fix. Until the update is applied, restrict access to the WordPress admin panel.

Original NVD description (English source)

The WP Hotel Booking plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'check_in_date' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
