CVE-2026-120447

HighCVSS 8.1
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

HotGo 2.8.4 through 2.15.1 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to choose the SMS login verification code by supplying the Code field to /admin/sms/send. Attackers who know a user's mobile number can set a known code and sign in through /admin/site/mobileLogin to take over accounts, including administrators.

Risk Assessment

The vulnerability enables account takeover, including administrative accounts, by an unauthenticated attacker who knows the victim's phone number. This can lead to full system compromise and unauthorized data access.

Recommendation

Update HotGo to a version later than 2.15.1 containing the fix. Until patched, consider disabling SMS login or restricting access to the /admin/sms/send and /admin/site/mobileLogin endpoints.
