CVE-2026-120062

HighCVSS 7.5
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

SQLSpecialColumns in psqlODBC splices the received table and schema names into its catalog query without escaping them, while other catalog functions escape them. An application passing an untrusted table or schema name to SQLSpecialColumns lets the caller execute arbitrary SQL with the connection's privileges.

Risk Assessment

SQL injection is possible, allowing arbitrary database operations with the application's privileges, potentially leading to data leakage or modification.

Recommendation

Upgrade psqlODBC to version 18.00.0006 or later and avoid passing untrusted table and schema names.
