CVE-2026-112266

MediumCVSS 5.9
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

SGLang through 0.5.22 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows API clients to abort other users' in-flight generation requests by supplying a short client-controlled rid. Attackers can submit streaming /generate requests with single hex character rids and disconnect, triggering prefix-matching abort logic that terminates all other clients' requests.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can mass-abort other users' inference, causing denial of service and application disruption. Only API access is required, without authentication.

Recommendation

Upgrade SGLang beyond 0.5.22. Until patched, enforce authentication and rate limits on the /generate endpoint and monitor for unusual rid patterns.
