CVE-2026-111392

MediumCVSS 4.8
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

SGLang through 0.5.21 trusts caller-supplied mm_hashes values as the multimodal prefix-cache key, allowing remote attackers to poison cached KV entries across requests. Attackers can send a different image under a known or predicted hash via /generate to disclose another request's image content or corrupt victims' responses.

Risk Assessment

KV cache poisoning can lead to leakage of images submitted by other users and to incorrect or manipulated model responses. This poses a serious risk to data confidentiality and integrity in multi-tenant environments.

Recommendation

Upgrade SGLang beyond 0.5.21 as soon as a fixed version is available, and do not trust caller-supplied mm_hashes values — verify them server-side. Consider isolating cache between users in multi-tenant environments.
