CVE Catalog

CVE-2026-109963

MediumCVSS 4.3
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Froxlor before 2.3.14 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the email template editor (admin_templates.php) because the mail body is fetched by mailbodyid without an adminid ownership check. Authenticated reseller admins can pair their own subjectid with sequential foreign mailbodyid values in edit requests to read other admins' email templates, including the full administrator's.

Risk Assessment

Resellers can access confidential email templates of other administrators, leading to information leakage and privilege isolation bypass. This may facilitate further social engineering attacks or exposure of configuration data.

Recommendation

Update Froxlor to version 2.3.14 or later. Additionally, verify that the template editor code checks object ownership (adminid) before exposing content.
