CVE-2026-103522

HighCVSS 7.2
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

In Thelia v2.6.0, the store banner upload feature performs insufficient filetype validation relying solely on client-supplied MIME types. An administrator can upload a PHP file disguised as an image to bypass validation and achieve remote code execution on the server.

Risk Assessment

An attacker with admin privileges can execute arbitrary code on the server, leading to full compromise of the application and system.

Recommendation

Update Thelia to a patched version. Additionally, implement server-side file type validation based on content, not only MIME.
