CVE-2026-103526

LowCVSS 3.7
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

In Thelia v2.6.0, both the admin login and forgotten password endpoints return different responses for invalid usernames and incorrect passwords, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate admin accounts. Lack of rate limiting facilitates scalable attacks.

Risk Assessment

Admin account enumeration can facilitate brute-force or targeted phishing attacks, increasing the risk of account takeover.

Recommendation

Apply vendor patches. Implement rate limiting and unify responses for invalid login data.

Original NVD description (English source)

In Thelia v2.6.0, both the administrative login and forgotten password endpoints return different responses for invalid usernames and incorrect passwords, allowing unauthenticated attackers to enumerate valid administrator accounts. Because the endpoint also lacks rate limiting or other protections against repeated authentication attempts, username enumeration can be performed efficiently at scale.
