Summary

A vulnerability in the Google Gemini connector configuration allows an attacker to disclose arbitrary files via a crafted credentials JSON payload. This requires authenticated access with privileges to create or modify connectors (Alerts & Connectors: All). The server processes the configuration without proper validation, enabling arbitrary network requests and file reads.

Risk Assessment

The organization is at risk of leaking sensitive system files or data available on the server, potentially leading to data confidentiality and integrity breaches. The attacker may also exploit the vulnerability for SSRF attacks against internal network resources.

Recommendation

Immediately update the Google Gemini connector component to the latest version containing the configuration validation fix. Restrict permissions to create or modify connectors to trusted administrators only.
