CVE-2025-68645

HighCVSS 8.8KEV
Published: Updated: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

A Local File Inclusion (LFI) vulnerability exists in the Webmail Classic UI of Zimbra Collaboration (ZCS) 10.0 and 10.1 due to improper handling of user-supplied request parameters in the RestFilter servlet. An unauthenticated remote attacker can craft requests to the /h/rest endpoint to influence internal request dispatching, allowing inclusion of arbitrary files from the WebRoot directory.

Risk Assessment

An unauthenticated attacker can read arbitrary files from the WebRoot directory of the Zimbra server, potentially exposing sensitive information and facilitating further attacks on the organization's mail environment.

Recommendation

Update Zimbra Collaboration to a version containing the fix for CVE-2025-68645 as soon as possible and restrict access to the /h/rest endpoint from untrusted networks.
