CVE-2025-40891
MediumCVSS 4.7Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk6th percentile - higher than 6% of all known CVEs
Summary
A Stored HTML Injection vulnerability was discovered in the Time Machine Snapshot Diff functionality due to improper validation of network traffic data. An unauthenticated attacker can send specially crafted network packets at two different times to inject HTML tags into asset attributes across two snapshots; exploitation requires a victim to use the Time Machine Snapshot Diff feature on those snapshots and perform specific GUI actions, enabling phishing and open redirect attacks. Full XSS exploitation is prevented by input validation and Content Security Policy, and attack complexity is high due to multiple required conditions.
Risk Assessment
Despite the constraints, the vulnerability can be used for phishing and open redirect attacks targeting users of the Time Machine Snapshot Diff feature.
Recommendation
Restrict access to the Time Machine Snapshot Diff feature to trusted users, monitor for unusual network traffic, and apply vendor patches when available.

- CVE-2026-7826Critical
A vulnerability in FalkorDB before 4.18.4 causes a heap-based out-of-bounds read in the BufferSerializerIOv2_ReadBuffer function. A remote attacker who can issue Redis replication commands (e.g., against an instance with no password) can send a crafted RDB stream with a sub-buffer length field exceeding the remaining buffer size. The only bounds check is an ASSERT(), which is compiled out in release builds, so memcpy() reads past the end of the heap allocation.
- CVE-2026-5759Critical
A double free and use-after-free vulnerability in the RdbLoadDeletedNodes function of the RDB graph decoders in FalkorDB before 4.18.1. A remote attacker who can issue Redis replication commands can send a crafted RDB stream where the deleted-nodes buffer length is not a multiple of sizeof(NodeID). The length check relies on ASSERT(), which is compiled out in release builds, so the function continues after freeing the buffer, reading it and freeing it a second time.

Original NVD description (English source)
A Stored HTML Injection vulnerability was discovered in the Time Machine Snapshot Diff functionality due to improper validation of network traffic data. An unauthenticated attacker can send specially crafted network packets at two different times to inject HTML tags into asset attributes across two snapshots. Exploitation requires a victim to use the Time Machine Snapshot Diff feature on those specific snapshots and perform specific GUI actions, at which point the injected HTML renders in their browser, enabling phishing and open redirect attacks. Full XSS exploitation is prevented by input validation and Content Security Policy. Attack complexity is high due to multiple required conditions.
