Summary

A vulnerability in the web interface of Cisco RV132W ADSL2+ Wireless-N VPN and RV134W VDSL2 Wireless-AC VPN Routers is due to incomplete input validation on user-controlled input in an HTTP request. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a crafted HTTP request to execute arbitrary code with root privileges and gain full control of the system or cause it to reload.

Risk Assessment

Exploitation allows an unauthenticated attacker to gain full control of the router or cause a denial of service (DoS), threatening the security of the entire network.

Recommendation

Upgrade the firmware of Cisco RV132W and RV134W routers to version 1.0.1.11, which fixes this vulnerability.
