Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
Incus prior to version 7.2.0 has an arbitrary file write vulnerability in the Incus client when a malicious image server returns a crafted `Incus-Image-Hash` header. This can lead to arbitrary command execution as root on the server.
Incus prior to version 7.1.0 has a vulnerability where improper validation of user-provided backup compression algorithm leads to argument injection in the constructed command line. This leads to an arbitrary file write on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution.
Incus prior to version 7.1.0 has a path traversal vulnerability in the S3 protocol upload endpoint, allowing creation of arbitrary files on the host. This could lead to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.1.0 fixes the issue.
Incus prior to version 7.2.0 allows a specially crafted image or instance backup to read or create/write arbitrary files on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue.
Incus prior to version 7.2.0 ignores the `restricted.containers.lowlevel=block` setting for instance snapshots, allowing arbitrary command execution on the Incus server by abusing lowlevel hooks such as `raw.lxc` and `raw.qemu`. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue.
Incus prior to version 7.2.0 has a vulnerability in the `record-output` parameter of the `/instances/$name/exec` endpoint, where if `exec-output` is a symlink, files named `exec_UUID.stdout` and `exec_UUID.stderr` can be written to an arbitrary location, with the `.stdout` file containing arbitrary content. This can be abused for arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 contains a patch.
Incus prior to version 7.2.0 allows a specially crafted image to read or create/write arbitrary files on the host, possibly leading to arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 fixes the issue.
SPIP before 4.4.21 allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, as exploited in the wild in August 2026. This is related to code injection via an X-Spip-Filtre HTTP request header that is mishandled by analyse_resultat_skel.
Headroom's LLM proxy derives the memory owner from the x-headroom-user-id request header. The header is read directly at several points, and nothing binds the value to the caller. A client can name another user's identifier and read or write that user's stored LLM memory. The fix introduces a single resolve_memory_identity seam that honors the header only for loopback or allowlisted callers and otherwise binds the identity to the proxy-token fingerprint or the operating system user. The pip console script binds 127.0.0.1 by default, but the reference docker-compose.yml ships --host 0.0.0.0 with published ports and no required HEADROOM_PROXY_TOKEN, exposing the affected data-plane routes to the network without authentication.
A security flaw has been discovered in Comfast CF-N1-S 2.6.0.1, affecting the system function in /cgi-bin/mbox-config?method=SET§ion=ntp_timezone. Manipulation of the timestr argument results in command injection. The attack can be launched remotely and the exploit has been publicly released.
SiYuan before v3.7.4 fails to validate the packageName parameter in Bazaar install and uninstall endpoints, allowing authenticated administrators to perform path traversal. Attackers with admin access can write arbitrary files or recursively delete directories by supplying crafted packageName values.
Improper Access Control vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's Kubernetes Service (CKS) plugin, allowing cross-tenant manipulation of the Kubernetes cluster while adding and removing nodes. Affects versions from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0.
Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's UI while using Instance Reset Password functionality. Affects versions from 4.15.1.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Apache CloudStack's webhook module, exploitable via webhook delivery requests. Affects versions from 4.20.0.0 through 4.20.3.0 and from 4.21.0.0 through 4.22.1.0.
The Automation Web Platform – Notifications and OTP for WooCommerce, Advanced Country Code plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions up to and including 4.8.6. The handle_email_otp_return() function returns the secret magic login token in the response to a publicly accessible OTP request, rather than only delivering it to the user's email. This allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators, if they know the user's email address.
External Control of File Name or Path in the upload API endpoint of Datiphy Data Management Center from v8.3.0 through v8.5.1 allows a remote attacker to write files to arbitrary locations outside the intended upload directory via relative or absolute path sequences.
OS command injection in the api endpoint of Datiphy Data Management Center from v8.3.0 through v8.5.1 allows an authenticated administrator to execute arbitrary operating system commands as root.
Use of default credentials in Datiphy Data Management Center from v8.3.0 through v8.5.1 allows a remote attacker to gain administrative access to the management platform by logging in with default administrator credentials.
The arrayref crate 0.3.10 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.
The append-only-vec crate 0.1.9 for Rust can trigger execution of malicious code when compiling a project that uses the crate, because it has a rogue dependency that registers with a command-and-control server to offer arbitrary code execution.
