Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
SSH.NET prior to 2026.0.0 has ScpClient placing caller-supplied remote paths into the scp command, and the default RemotePathTransformation.DoubleQuote cannot safely quote every remote command interpreter. When an application passes an attacker-controlled path to a shell-based server, shell metacharacters can execute commands as the authenticated SSH user.
oras-go before version 2.6.2 does not validate the scheme, host, or port of a URL taken from a registry-controlled Link response header. During pagination operations (Tags, Referrers, Repositories), a GET request is issued to an attacker-selected URL, enabling blind server-side request forgery against internal services.
oras-go prior to 2.6.2 allows content/file.Store extraction of OCI layers marked io.deis.oras.content.unpack=true to write outside the store working directory. A malicious archive can create a symlink chain whose resolved target is an attacker-selected absolute path and overwrite it, even when AllowPathTraversalOnWrite is false.
Concrete CMS before 9.5.4 did not sanitize XML and XSLT documents uploaded through a public Form Block file-upload question. An unauthenticated visitor could store an XML document with an xml-stylesheet processing instruction referencing an attacker-supplied same-origin XSLT stylesheet, leading to stored XSS in the Concrete CMS origin.
Concrete CMS below 9.5.4 did not validate the user timezone value (uTimezone) on write and rendered it without output encoding on the Dashboard user management page. A stored XSS payload saved in this field executed in an administrator's browser when they viewed the affected user.
MikroORM before versions 6.6.16 and 7.1.7 does not validate the direction value of an orderBy clause before concatenating it into an ORDER BY statement. Applications that bind attacker-controlled data to the sort direction in em.find(), em.findOne(), em.findAndCount(), QueryBuilder.orderBy(), or QueryBuilderHelper.getQueryOrderFromObject() may allow SQL fragment injection and blind data extraction.
A vulnerability in the internal configuration of the Apache JServ Protocol (AJP) connector for Cisco Secure FMC Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to impersonate a peer device. The issue is due to incorrect initialization of encryption parameters for the AJP connector at boot time. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands as root and gain full control over the FMC REST APIs, but only if the sftunnel connection between FMC and FTD is down.
Dell Update Package Framework, versions prior to 26.07.03, contains an Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Filesystem access for attacker.
Dell Update Package Framework, versions prior to 26.07.03, contains an Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to filesystem access for the attacker.
Dell Update Package Framework, versions prior to 26.07.03, contains an Unchecked Return Value vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
Dell Update Package Framework, versions prior to 26.07.03, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
node-opcua is an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js. Prior to node-opcua-client 2.145.0, the internal fieldsToJson method in packages/node-opcua-client/source/alarms_and_conditions/client_alarm.ts directly assigns unsanitized field names and allows a __proto__.pollutedKey path to modify Object.prototype. Successful exploitation requires an application to expose attacker-controlled event fields to fieldsToJson and may cause denial of service or application logic corruption.
node-opcua is an OPC UA implementation for TypeScript and Node.js. From 2.0.0 until 2.170.0, node-opcua clients using the default keepSessionAlive setting can enter a repeated reconnection cycle when an OPC UA server's clock skew causes BadInvalidTimestamp responses, accumulating file descriptors and memory until resource exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 2.170.0.
Stanza is a Stanford NLP Python library for tokenization, sentence segmentation, NER, and parsing of many human languages. Prior to 1.14.0, stanza.resources.common.unzip passes downloaded archives to zipfile.ZipFile.extractall without validating member paths, allowing a malicious archive with parent-directory traversal entries to write outside the intended model directory and potentially enable code execution. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.0.
Composer from 1.0 to 2.2.30 and from 2.3.0 to 2.10.3 allows a malicious or compromised dependency to bypass the earlier binary-path hardening from CVE-2026-59946. Through an in-package symlink or installed.json metadata, an attacker can point to a binary path outside the installation directory, and Composer may change the external file's permissions and create a runnable vendor/bin proxy.
vLLM before version 0.24.0 in the input_audio handling path for /v1/chat/completions does not pass VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_DECODE_DURATION_S to the shared audio decoder. An unauthenticated client can submit a small compressed audio input that expands into a very large float32 PCM allocation, bypassing the duration guard and causing an out-of-memory worker crash.
A flaw was found in sequoia-openpgp. The library incorrectly infers key flags for older certificates when a key flags subpacket is missing, leading to a discrepancy in how key capabilities are viewed. This key flag confusion allows an attacker to bypass the back-signature check, illegitimately bind an arbitrary subkey to their own certificate, and forge signatures, completely compromising cryptographic integrity.
Cisco conducted an internal security review that resulted in a software hardening release addressing multiple internally discovered vulnerabilities in Cisco Secure Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense Software, and Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center Software. The vulnerabilities tracked by CVE-2026-20331 relate to failure of protection mechanisms (CWE-693).
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco ISE could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. The attacker must have at least low-privileged administrative credentials. The issue is due to insecure deserialization of a user-supplied Java byte stream; successful exploitation could allow code execution and privilege escalation to root, and in single-node deployments could cause the ISE node to become unavailable (DoS).
A vulnerability in the REST API of Cisco ISE and ISE-PIC could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to perform command injection attacks on the underlying operating system and elevate privileges to root. The attacker must have valid administrative credentials. The issue is due to improper validation of user-supplied input; successful exploitation could allow arbitrary code execution, and in single-node deployments could cause the ISE node to become unavailable (DoS).
