Weekly CVE digest
One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.
This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.
The Xiiaozet LK100Wt contains an authentication weakness within an administrative service that may allow an attacker to bypass intended access controls and obtain command execution capabilities. Successful exploitation could allow unauthorized interaction with privileged functionality and may lead to complete device compromise.
An improper protection of authentication tokens vulnerability exists in certain Ebyte gateway products. Authentication tokens used by the web management interface are insufficiently protected during client-side session handling, which may allow an attacker with access to exposed session information to obtain and reuse a valid token. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to impersonate an authenticated user and gain unauthorized access to device management functionality.
The static resource interface /api/static/{deployKey}/ in Yu AI Code Mother v4.3 is vulnerable to path traversal. The user-controlled path is concatenated to the preview root directory without normalization, allowing anonymous attackers to read files outside the preview root.
The Ebyte device web management interface does not consistently enforce authentication before granting access to administrative functionality. An unauthenticated remote attacker could access sensitive configuration information, modify device settings, or disrupt availability.
The Ebyte device relies on client side authentication logic that can be reproduced by unauthenticated users. An attacker may generate valid authentication requests and bypass authentication to obtain administrative access to the device.
MQTT credentials and control traffic are transmitted in cleartext, exposing sensitive information to network-level attackers. This may enable unauthorized device impersonation and disruption of messaging functions.
FastGPT before version 4.15.2 has unauthorized access to WeChat (iLink) share-channel endpoints using only the public shareId. An unauthenticated attacker can hijack a victim's WeChat channel, replace bot credentials, and expose private app responses.
Ceph before versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6 has a flaw in the Monitor subscription handler that allows a user with only read-only capabilities (mon allow r) to read the entire configuration-key store. This store contains sensitive secrets, including LUKS disk-encryption passphrases and the cephadm SSH private key.
ServiceNow has remediated a SQL injection vulnerability in the ServiceNow AI platform. This vulnerability could enable an unauthenticated user, in certain circumstances, to execute arbitrary SQL statements against the instance's underlying database and gain access to, or modify, instance data beyond what was intended. ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and provided the update to partners and self-hosted customers. No malicious exploitation is currently known.
ServiceNow has remediated a sandbox escape security issue in the ServiceNow AI Platform. This issue could allow an unauthenticated user to execute arbitrary code within the platform, potentially leading to more access than intended. ServiceNow deployed a security update to hosted instances and provided it to partners and self-hosted customers. No malicious exploitation is currently known.
Spring MVC applications using the functional web framework are vulnerable to stream corruption when using Server-Sent Events (SSE). Affects Spring Framework versions 7.0.0-7.0.8, 6.2.0-6.2.19, 6.1.0-6.1.28, 6.0.0-6.0.30, and 5.3.0-5.3.49.
Applications that evaluate Spring Expression Language (SpEL) expressions using SimpleEvaluationContext may be vulnerable to a safety guard bypass when the SpEL expression compiler is active. Affects multiple versions of Spring Framework.
n8n-nodes-sqlite3 is a node for operating a local SQLite database from n8n. Prior to 1.0.0, nodes/SqliteNode/v1/SqliteV1.node.ts exposes the db_path database file path as a node parameter that permits data expressions from upstream workflow input. A workflow author who maps untrusted input to db_path can allow a remote attacker to select which SQLite file the n8n process opens, enabling traversal outside the intended database location and potentially reading, creating, or overwriting files accessible to the process.
Veno File Manager Project 4.4.9 is vulnerable to Incorrect Access Control in admin-head-updates.php.
Arbitrary File Rename Leading to Privilege Escalation in Actions::renameFile() function in Veno File Manager Project 4.4.9 allows an authenticated attacker with 'rename' permission to take over the super administrator account via a specially crafted POST request to the affected endpoint renaming the application configuration file and triggering a rebuild of configuration and resetting super administrator credentials to default values.
Veno File Manager 4.4.9 is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion in the translations endpoint. An attacker can delete any file in the application by using the 'remove' parameter in the request.
Vulnerability in the FileWriterTool component of crewai-tools <= 1.10.2rc1. A remote attacker can achieve code execution via malicious path traversal sequences in the filename argument.
Vulnerability in the WebSocket endpoint of gpt-researcher v0.14.7 and before. An unauthenticated remote attacker can achieve code execution via malicious Model Context Protocol configurations.
BerriAI litellm <=1.82.4 is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI), allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted dotprompt_content parameter in the /prompts/test endpoint due to use of an unsandboxed jinja2.Environment.
Agno up to and including 2.5.8 is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) via prompt injection. The PythonTools and ShellTools components pass unsanitized, LLM-generated arguments directly to execution sinks including exec(), runpy.run_path(), and subprocess.run(). An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by embedding malicious instructions in content processed by the agent (such as web pages or documents), allowing for arbitrary code and OS command execution on the host server.
