Weekly CVE digest

One email a week with newly published vulnerabilities worth knowing about. No account needed.

This digest covers new vulnerabilities in general, not your servers. If you want to know which of them actually run in your infrastructure, that is what Secvalis does: it scans your machines and reports only what concerns them.

I agree to receive the weekly CVE digest at the address above. I can withdraw this consent at any time using the link in the footer of every message.

CVE-2026-100237
Medium

The Mediawiki - Thanks Extension before versions 1.43.10, 1.45.5, and 1.46.1 contains a Stored XSS vulnerability due to improper input neutralization during web page generation.

CVE-2026-97869
Medium

A flaw in the AgenticScopeSerializer.fromJson function in the LangChain4j-agentic component causes a deserialization issue. Remote exploitation is possible but complex and difficult. The issue is fixed in versions 1.5.3-beta11, 1.11.10-beta19, and 1.18.1-beta28. The exploit has been published and may be used.

CVE-2026-97868
Low

A security vulnerability has been detected in sheshbabu zen up to 1.5.0. The function dangerouslySetInnerHTML in the Note Editor component is affected, leading to cross-site scripting. The attack can be initiated remotely, and the exploit has been publicly disclosed.

CVE-2026-97469
Medium

PostgreSQL Anonymizer contains a vulnerability that allows unprivileged masked users to repeatedly call anon.hash() and collect (seed, hash_output) pairs to perform an offline brute-force attack and deduce the salt. The issue is fixed in version 3.2.3.

CVE-2026-96874
Low

The Mediawiki - Cargo extension through version 3.9.4 contains a Stored XSS vulnerability due to improper input neutralization during web page generation.

CVE-2026-92161
Critical

Before versions 1.7.4 and 2.0.0-beta.4, the Discord OAuth provider in FriendsOfFlarum does not check the 'verified' field for an OAuth email before passing it to Flarum core as trusted. This allows an unauthenticated attacker who knows a victim's email address to configure a Discord account with that unverified address and sign in as the victim without a password.

CVE-2026-85293
Medium

InvoicePlane 1.7.2-beta-1 stores client_email without enforcing email syntax and renders it unescaped inside double-quoted value attributes in the invoice and quote mailer forms. An administrator who can edit a client can store attribute-breaking input, and when the mailer is configured, JavaScript executes when another authenticated administrator opens the related mailer page. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-85292
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's User_Controller compares the session user_type value with the required role using PHP's loose inequality operator. Under a non-standard session backend that returns unexpected scalar types, type juggling can cause a value that is not strictly the required role to pass the authorization check. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-85291
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Users::change_password() method accepts a user_id from the URL and updates that account's password without an object-level authorization check. An authenticated secondary administrator can target the primary administrator account and replace its password without knowing the current password. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-85290
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane's Cron::recur() method writes an invalid cron key from the URL path directly to the application log without neutralizing CRLF characters. An unauthenticated requester can place forged log lines into the audit trail, potentially corrupting forensic records and interfering with log-based monitoring. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-85289
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane omits ensure_valid_post_request() from delete methods including Payments::delete(), Recurring::delete(), and User_clients::delete(). Although the routes require POST, they do not validate the request's CSRF token. An attacker can submit a cross-origin form through an authenticated administrator's browser to delete financial records and other application data. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-85274
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane exposes Recurring::stop() as a state-changing GET route without CSRF token validation. When an authenticated administrator loads attacker-controlled content that requests /invoices/recurring/stop/{id}, the application stops the selected recurring invoice. An attacker can target multiple identifiers to interrupt recurring billing and cause financial loss. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-67236
Medium

RabbitMQ versions from 4.2.0 until 4.2.8 and 4.3.2: a successful POST /login caused is_authorized/2 to set an auth cookie containing base64-encoded username:password credentials without HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite, or expiration protections. Because base64 is encoding rather than encryption, an attacker with same-origin cross-site scripting, an HTTP-readable network position, or local access to the browser cookie store could recover the actual login credentials; older browsers that treated an absent SameSite attribute as None also sent the cookie cross-site.

CVE-2026-62262
Critical

In Piwigo up to version 17.0.0beta1, when rating is enabled, an unauthenticated guest can call pwg.images.filteredSearch.create with a crafted ratings[] value and open the returned search URL. The value is not validated and is used as the upper bound in an SQL query, allowing extraction of database information or time delays.

CVE-2026-54790
Medium

Prior to 1.7.2, InvoicePlane stores an administrator-controlled custom_field_table value without validating it against the allowed custom-field table names. Mdl_custom_fields::used() later concatenates that stored value into the FROM table and WHERE column identifier positions, so opening the custom-field edit form executes a second-order SQL injection. The injection can query arbitrary schema data and can cause application errors or denial of service. Fixed in version 1.7.2.

CVE-2026-50547
High

InvoicePlane before version 1.7.2: Invoices::generate_xml() appends a database-derived xml_id to the XMLconfigs helper directory and includes the resulting PHP path without validating the identifier. A low-privileged attacker who can influence the e-invoice configuration can use traversal sequences to include an existing PHP file. Code execution requires a separate file-upload or file-write primitive.

CVE-2026-49850
High

InvoicePlane before version 1.7.2 exposes Invoices::delete() and Invoices::delete_invoice_tax() as state-changing routes without requiring POST and validating a CSRF token. When an authenticated administrator loads attacker-controlled content that requests an affected route, the application can delete an invoice or invoice tax record. The cross-origin action can remove financial data without the administrator's intent.

CVE-2026-44642
High

Piwigo before version 16.4.0: check_upgrade_access_rights() in admin/include/functions_upgrade.php conditionally escapes the submitted username only when the removed get_magic_quotes_gpc function exists, so PHP 8 and later concatenate an unauthenticated username directly into the upgrade authentication SQL query. When database upgrades are pending, a crafted query result can satisfy the status and password checks, set PHPWG_IN_UPGRADE, and authorize upgrade execution without valid administrator credentials.

CVE-2026-42324
High

Piwigo before version 16.4.0: admin/element_set_ranks.php stores administrator-controlled image_order[] values without enforcing the existing sort-field whitelist. The stored album image_order expression is later concatenated into ORDER BY clauses by admin/batch_manager_global.php, admin/batch_manager_unit.php, include/section_init.inc.php, and include/ws_functions/pwg.categories.php. When at least one album contains at least one photo, an authenticated administrator can store a crafted expression and trigger it in a later album or Batch Manager query to disclose, modify, or disrupt database data.

CVE-2026-42323
High

In Piwigo prior to 16.4.0, admin/batch_manager.php accepts administrator-controlled dimension width, height, ratio, and filesize values from the Batch Manager filter URL without numeric validation. These values are stored in the bulk_manager_filter session state and concatenated into SQL predicates, allowing an authenticated administrator to inject SQL expressions. The issue is fixed in version 16.4.0.
