CVE-2026-99206

Unknown
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

In the Linux kernel, the scsi target iscsi subsystem has a race in discovery auth updates. Concurrent configfs opens can free the same value in iscsi_update_param_value(), causing a double-free.

Risk Assessment

A double-free can corrupt the heap, crash the kernel, or potentially allow code execution by a local user with configfs access.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that protects the lookup and replacement with the discovery TPG access lock.
