Summary

In the Linux kernel, __tcf_action_put() (net/sched) has a use-after-free: the reference count is decremented before the binding count, so another thread can free the action between these operations, causing the binding-count update to access freed memory.

Risk Assessment

This can lead to kernel memory corruption, system crashes, or potential exploitation for privilege escalation by a local user.

Recommendation

Update the Linux kernel to a version containing the fix that holds the action IDR mutex across both counter updates and IDR removal.
