Summary

In the Linux kernel iwlwifi driver (mvm subsystem), the tid value from firmware is used as an index into tid_data[] without validation. Lack of bounds checking could lead to out-of-bounds access.

Risk Assessment

This could allow an attacker to access memory outside the array, potentially leading to privilege escalation or system crash.

Recommendation

Apply the Linux kernel patch that adds a bounds check for tid before using it as an index.
