CVE-2026-93744
MediumCVSS 6.5Summary
IBM i 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper access control. By sending a specially crafted HTTP request to any URL within the Navigator application prior to authentication, a bad actor could exploit this vulnerability to alter server-side session security state.
Risk Assessment
Bypassing access controls may allow an attacker to manipulate session state and potentially gain unauthorized access to the application. Organizations using IBM i Navigator are exposed to remote unauthenticated attacks.
Recommendation
Apply available IBM i updates containing the fix for this vulnerability. Restrict network access to the Navigator application to trusted networks.
