CVE-2026-92820
HighCVSS 8.1Summary
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file operations in versions up to 3.3.34 via the external (Amazon S3) upload flow. The plugin trusts an attacker-supplied file path, allowing arbitrary file read, write, or deletion on the server.
Risk Assessment
An attacker can read sensitive files, write malicious code (leading to remote code execution), or delete critical data, potentially compromising the entire server.
Recommendation
Update the Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin to the latest patched version. If using external uploads, ensure file paths are validated and restrict access to actions.
Other vulnerabilities in Ninja Forms - File Uploads
See all- CVE-2026-12557Medium
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress up to version 3.3.29 inclusive contains an authorization bypass vulnerability. Unauthenticated attackers can read all debug log entries stored in the wp_nf3_log table or permanently delete all rows from that table.
- CVE-2026-13369High
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress up to version 3.3.29 is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read. The attach_files() function improperly handles a raw attacker-controlled 'files' array, bypassing upload validation, path normalization, and database record creation, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to read arbitrary files on the server.
Original NVD description (English source)
The Ninja Forms - File Uploads plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file operations in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.34 via the external (Amazon S3) upload flow. The plugin trusts an attacker-supplied file path from the form submission and stores it as the upload's file_path, which is then used without validation to attach a file to the form's notification email (arbitrary file read), to write fetched content (arbitrary file write, leading to remote code execution when the external store is configured), and in a scheduled deletion (arbitrary file deletion). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary files on the server. Exploitation requires the site to use the plugin's External File Upload (Amazon S3) action; the read variant additionally requires a form Email action configured to attach the uploaded file.
