CVE-2026-90455
MediumCVSS 6.3Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk13th percentile - higher than 13% of all known CVEs
Summary
A prior update that raised a bundled HTTP client library to a version remediating known vulnerabilities was later reverted, reintroducing the earlier, vulnerable version into a log-processing component. The only code path in that component using the library issues a request to a single fixed, trusted vendor URL at initialization and does not process attacker-controlled input through the library.
Risk Assessment
Practical exploitability of the reintroduced version is limited because the library does not process attacker-controlled input. Nevertheless, the presence of a known vulnerable library poses a risk if its usage changes in the future.
Recommendation
Reapply the HTTP client library update to a version free of known vulnerabilities. Verify that no other code path uses this library in an exploitable manner.
