Summary

In the mt76 driver, there is a race in RXDMAD_C buffer recycling. These buffers come from page pools tied to a different NAPI, so direct recycling can race with the owning NAPI, leading to errors.

Risk Assessment

This can lead to packet processing errors, data corruption, or system crashes.

Recommendation

Apply the fix that uses the non-direct path for recycling, as already done for WED RX queues.

Original NVD description (English source)

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: fix RXDMAD_C buffer recycling race The RXDMAD_C buffers come from the RRO data queues' page pools, which are bound to a different NAPI, so the direct page-pool recycle used here could race the owning NAPI; take the non-direct path as is already done for WED RX queues.
