CVE Catalog

CVE-2026-85975

HighCVSS 7.5
Published: Translated: NVD NIST

Summary

Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 may use cleartext transport for Amazon S3 connections by default. A network-positioned attacker could intercept data or credentials transmitted through an affected connection.

Risk Assessment

Interception of S3 credentials or transmitted data can lead to unauthorized access to cloud resources and information disclosure. The risk is especially high where outbound traffic traverses untrusted network segments.

Recommendation

Upgrade MarkLogic Server to 12.1.0 or 11.3.7 (or later) and enforce encrypted TLS connections for Amazon S3 integration. Verify outbound connection configuration to ensure HTTPS is enforced.
