22th percentile - higher than 22% of all known CVEs

Summary

The Contact Form DB for Enfold plugin for WordPress in versions up to and including 2.0.2 is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Contact Form Field Values. Due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary scripts into pages that execute when a user visits the injected page. The payload is echoed unescaped in a title HTML attribute and in the table cell body in admin/ecf_index.php, and base64 encoding and serialization do not neutralize the malicious content.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can execute arbitrary JavaScript in an administrator's or user's browser, potentially leading to session theft, account takeover, or content modification. The risk is high because exploitation requires no authentication.

Recommendation

Update the Contact Form DB for Enfold plugin to a version later than 2.0.2 as soon as it becomes available, and consider disabling it in the meantime. Additionally, implement server-side input validation and output escaping.

Original NVD description (English source)

The Contact Form DB for Enfold plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Contact Form Field Values in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is echoed unescaped both inside a title HTML attribute and in the table cell body in admin/ecf_index.php; base64 encoding and serialization of the stored values do not neutralize the malicious content.
