Summary
Vulnerability in Oracle Fusion Middleware Helidon (component: helidon-dbclient-mongodb) affecting versions 3.0.0-3.2.20 and 4.0.0-4.5.4. A difficult-to-exploit attack via HTTP can lead to unauthorized data access, data modification, and partial denial of service. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.0.
Risk Assessment
Potential leakage and modification of critical data and partial service unavailability, which may disrupt Helidon-based applications.
Recommendation
Update Helidon to a patched version (above 3.2.20 or 4.5.4) and restrict network access to services using helidon-dbclient-mongodb.
