CVE-2026-82632
LowCVSS 3.1Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk7th percentile - higher than 7% of all known CVEs
Summary
GitLab CE/EE versions from 18.9 before 19.2.8, 19.3 before 19.3.5, and 19.4 before 19.4.2 have a vulnerability that, under certain conditions, could allow an authenticated user with a fine-grained Personal Access Token scoped only to user-boundary import permissions to import projects into group namespaces beyond the token's intended scope, due to incorrect authorization of the import target namespace.
Risk Assessment
A user with a limited token could import projects into groups they should not access, potentially leading to unauthorized data access.
Recommendation
Upgrade GitLab to version 19.2.8, 19.3.5, or 19.4.2.
