Dell Inventory Collector Client, versions prior to 15.0.0, contain an Unquoted Search Path or Element vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Code execution and Elevation of Privileges.

The flaw allows a local low-privileged attacker to execute arbitrary code and escalate privileges on the system. This can lead to workstation takeover and further lateral movement within the network.

Update Dell Inventory Collector Client to version 15.0.0 or later. Restrict local access to systems with the client installed and monitor for unusual privilege escalation activity.
