MediumCVSS 6.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk13th percentile - higher than 13% of all known CVEs
Summary
The WP Project Manager Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.1 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Risk Assessment
SQL Injection can lead to the disclosure of sensitive data such as passwords, customer data, or other information stored in the WordPress database.
Recommendation
Update the WP Project Manager Pro plugin to a version newer than 4.0.1 and audit the database for unauthorized queries.
