CVE-2026-78001
MediumCVSS 6.4Summary
The Post and Page Builder by BoldGrid – Visual Drag and Drop Editor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the Table Designer 'data-label' Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 1.27.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Risk Assessment
An attacker with a Contributor account can persistently inject malicious JavaScript into site pages, potentially leading to session theft, redirects, or administrator account takeover.
Recommendation
Update the plugin to a version newer than 1.27.13 as soon as it becomes available, and in the meantime limit Contributor accounts and monitor for unusual page content changes.
