CVE-2026-70411
HighCVSS 7.1Summary
Dell Container Storage Modules (CSM) versions prior to 1.18.0 contain a Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in the csm-authorization-tenant gRPC service (TenantService). An unauthenticated adjacent network attacker could create unauthorized tenant entities, inject cross-tenant roles, and modify storage access control flags.
Risk Assessment
The risk includes unauthorized changes to tenant configuration and access control, potentially leading to privilege escalation and isolation breaches.
Recommendation
Upgrade CSM to version 1.18.0 or later and enforce authentication for the TenantService.
