CVE-2026-62277
MediumCVSS 6.5Exploitation Probability (EPSS)
Low risk25th percentile - higher than 25% of all known CVEs
Summary
In LubeLogger prior to 1.6.8, `PrintRecordStickers` verifies access to the supplied `vehicleId` but fetches caller-supplied `recordIds` without checking that each record belongs to the authorized vehicle. An authenticated user can thus retrieve other users' records across multiple modules.
Risk Assessment
Vehicle maintenance records, costs, notes, mileage and attachment metadata of other users may be disclosed. This breaches data confidentiality and can lead to cross-account information leakage.
Recommendation
Upgrade LubeLogger to version 1.6.8 or later. Until then, restrict access to the `POST /Vehicle/PrintRecordStickers` endpoint.
Other vulnerabilities in LubeLogger
See all- CVE-2026-62279High
LubeLogger prior to 1.6.8 allows an authenticated user to submit caller-controlled recordIds to the DuplicateRecordsToOtherVehicles endpoint while naming destination vehicleIds the user can edit. The endpoint authorizes destination vehicles but fetches source records without checking UserCanEditVehicle for each existingRecord.VehicleId, allowing records belonging to another user to be copied into an attacker-controlled vehicle.
- CVE-2026-62278High
LubeLogger prior to 1.6.8 allows authenticated non-administrative users to reach HandleTranslationFileUpload and influence the name passed to RenameFile, which constructs newFilePath without verifying the resolved absolute path remains under the web root or data directory. A crafted upload name can move an uploaded file outside the intended storage directory.
Original NVD description (English source)
LubeLogger is a self-hosted, open-source, web-based vehicle maintenance and fuel mileage tracker. Prior to 1.6.8, `PrintRecordStickers` in `/Controllers/VehicleController.cs` checks through `CollaboratorFilter` that the authenticated caller can view the supplied `vehicleId`, but fetches caller-supplied `recordIds` without checking that each record's `VehicleId` belongs to the authorized vehicle. An authenticated user can submit `POST /Vehicle/PrintRecordStickers` with an authorized `vehicleId`, enumerate other users' integer record IDs and select an `ImportMode` to retrieve records across the service, gas, repair, upgrade, tax, supply, note, odometer, reminder, plan, inspection and equipment stores. Returned information includes descriptions, costs, notes, mileage, extra fields and file attachment metadata, allowing cross-user disclosure of vehicle maintenance records. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.8.
