Authenticated attackers with Author-level access or above can upload arbitrary files, potentially leading to remote code execution.

Risk Assessment

An attacker can upload malicious files such as backdoors, leading to full server compromise and data integrity breach. This can result in data theft, ransomware installation, or use of the server for further attacks.

Recommendation

Update the LightSync Pro plugin to the latest patched version. Restrict author permissions and implement server-side file type validation.
